Body Worn Camera Program

The Greeley Police Department has been utilizing body cameras since March 1st, 2019. We use Axon body cameras and Axon software and applications to manage, store, redact video, and share it. 

  • As of December 31st, 2025, there were over 600,000 videos in storage at over 125,000 hours of footage.
  • There were over 146,000 videos uploaded in 2025, with an average of 401 videos uploaded each day.
  • Over 1,500 videos were released in 2025, with nearly 1,000 hours spent redacting videos.
  • As of December 31st, 2025, the Greeley Police Department has over 200 body cameras in service.
