Fire Station 1
Fire Station 1 serves as the headquarters of the Greeley Fire Department and is a central hub for emergency response, department operations, training, and leadership. Home to much of GFD’s administrative staff, the station supports the coordination and resources needed to serve a growing community. Station 1 is home to Engine 101, Truck 101, Tender 101, and Battalion 101, providing a range of emergency response capabilities from a single location. Crews operating from Station 1 respond to approximately 4,500 calls for service each year. Beyond emergency response, Station 1 plays an important role in department-wide training and operational readiness. Personnel assigned to the station also manage GFD’s Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) program, helping ensure firefighters throughout the department have properly maintained and reliable respiratory protection when operating in smoke-filled, toxic, and other immediately dangerous environments. As both an operational fire station and GFD headquarters, Station 1 is an important part of the department’s ability to remain prepared, support its personnel, and provide professional and responsive emergency services to the Greeley community.
