GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley will hold a public open house on Thursday, September 24, to share information about current and future downtown infrastructure improvements.

Crews are replacing old underground utility systems to help build a stronger and more resilient downtown. The open house will cover the current Downtown Infrastructure Improvements and the 12th Street Storm Drain Outfall.

Community members can learn about the project, why it is needed and what comes next. The project teams will explain how the work may affect traffic, parking, downtown access and local businesses. Staff will be available to answer questions.  

WHAT: Downtown Revitalization Project Open House 
WHEN: Thursday, September 24, 5:30-7 p.m. 
PRESENTATION: Brief project presentation at 6 p.m. 
WHERE: Kimberly’s Event Center, 1029 8th Avenue, Greeley 
LANGUAGE ACCESS: A Spanish interpreter will be available. 

The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is needed. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Downtown Infrastructure Improvements Project includes replacing and improving older water, sewer, and stormwater systems in downtown Greeley. The project also includes some improvements to roads, sidewalks, and streetscapes.
