GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley has announced the unofficial results of the 2025 election. Results will be certified the week of November 10.  Dale Hall has been elected as the Mayor of Greeley, serving a two-year term. The following candidates have been elected to serve on the Greeley City Council and will serve the following terms:

  • Councilmember At-Large: Ryan Roth, 4 year term
  • Ward 2 Councilmember: Deb DeBoutez, 4 year term
  • Ward 3 Councilmember: Johnny Olson, 4 year term
  • Ward 4 Councilmember: Brian Rudy, 2 year term

The newly elected officials will be sworn in during the Greeley City Council meeting on Tuesday, November 18. The public is invited to attend.

"We appreciate everyone who participated in this year’s election and congratulate those who will be serving the community as part of City Council,” said City Clerk Heidi Leatherwood. “We look forward to working together to continue advancing Greeley’s goals and priorities.”

The City also extends its gratitude to outgoing Mayor John Gates for his dedication and service to the Greeley community. His leadership has helped guide the city through a period of continued growth, investment, and opportunity.

“Mayor Gates and Councilmember Payton have been steady, thoughtful leaders whose deep commitment to this community shaped Greeley in countless positive ways,” said City Manager Raymond Lee. “We now look ahead to working with our new leadership to continue to invest in the people and programs that make our city thrive.”

“As I step down from my role as mayor, I am filled with confidence in the strength of our city and its residents,” said outgoing Mayor John Gates. “I want to congratulate all the candidates and express my gratitude to our community for participating in this important civic process. Serving this city in many capacities has been the greatest privilege of my life.”
